Saving Banksy Documentary Movie

“The movie is the story of a misguided art collector, who tries to save a Banksy painting from destruction and the auction block,” says executive producer Brian Greif. “This guy is snubbed by museums and faces fines by the city. Unaware of the real value of the preserved Banksy painting, he stores the six foot tall Rat in his bedroom closet until six-figure offers start to roll in from art dealers.”

The documentary feature film “Saving Banksy” is a true story that asks the question, ‘What would you do if you woke up one morning and found a million dollar Banksy spray-painted on the side of your house?’ The film features interviews with top street and graffiti artists from across the globe, including Ben Eine, Risk, Revok, Niels Meulman, Blek Le Rat, Anthony Lister, Doze Green, Hera and Glen E Friedman. British artist Banksy is an International sensation. He has created some of the world’s most iconic street-art. His work is deemed illegal by authorities, but at auction Banksy street-paintings sell for hundreds-of-thousands of dollars. While his work is created for the public, Banksy paintings are being removed by art dealers and re-sold at auction for huge profits, and the artist receives nothing.
