Spraying Bricks with SMUG

Spraying Bricks is a video channel that goes beneath the surface of artistic creation, because every piece of art has it’s own story to tell. Art is not just reliant on the superficial final piece, but also on the process, thought, meaning and creative aspects that are went through prior to the final art form.

The first episode of Spraying Bricks captures SMUG painting the face of Louis Jensen, founder of Spraying Bricks. The piece was done at the Village Underground, Great Eastern Street, in the heart of Shoreditch in London. Since he first received recognition for his passion in Graffiti, SMUG quickly became one of the most talented street artists around. His high-quality murals demonstrate a photo-realistic style and also reflect his careful and precise attitude towards his work. SMUG is inspired by the people he knows and whoever he comes into contact with, this has led to the creation of unique pieces that have been exhibited globally.
