StayHigh149 from New York City, aka The Voice of the Ghetto, has passed away this week at the age of 61. He was a pioneer and an innovator with his tags and pieces from 1971-1975. He resurfaced in 2000 and his newer tags can still be seen around New York City. You can see his work on flickr and in the book The Faith of Graffiti. More to read here at the New York Times, Terror161´s Blog at 12oz and Sacha Jenkins for Mass Appeal. Rest in Peace Wayne Roberts
