Maser - Molotow Pigment Spray

Livestrong is the Lance Armstrong Foundation project to unite people to fight cancer believing that unity is strength, knowledge is power and attitude is everything. Each year they do summit meetings in a major city and last year they came to Dublin. They contacted Maser because they were looking for an Irish graffiti writer to help them promote their event. They wanted some artwork done with normal chalk, but Maser had the idea of using the Molotow Pigment Spray to do a large stencil project outside the building where the event took place. So this was approved and Maser ordered 5 boxes from us. The artwork represent Unity and people coming together (the handshake), the Livestrong logo breaking the wall of ignorance down and some positve and negative symbols on each side. The Livestrong Foundation loved the piece and 3 days after the event it rained and the whole thing washed away, saving Maser a cleaning bill of 500 euros :)

Naturally people only believe in what they see. Therefore we made a quality-test at the MOLOTOW™ tech-laboratories to prove the huge quality differences in spray-paints, especially the reactions of some solvents used in these respective cans.

We´ve tested seven conventional brands and MOLOTOW™ PREMIUM on a 5 mm thick, compressed Depron® styrofoam sheet to see how the paint reacts with the base-material.  Some of the spray-paints stood out due to their acidly smell, that was anything but healthy. Being exposed to that odour for too long caused sickness and headache to our testers. read more...

ECB prussian blue dark

Molotow Premium 327.105 Prussian Blue Dark is dedicated to ECB from Germany. ECB is well known for his mix-technique experiments with chalk-sprays, color gradients, etc. But primarily he works with Molotow Premium due to its coverage and reliability. One of his favorite color spectrums is the blue palette. So it was clear that the ECB-can had to be an unmistakable blue – ECB prussian blue dark. See his artworks here
