splash! Festival 2010
Since day one Graffiti has been an important element of the splash! festival . In the early years there were just hundreds of meters of wooden walls, later on the traditional Write4Gold events came along. The biggest aerosol art competition had a break this year coming back in 2011!
This year MOLOTOW™ prepared something special for the festival audience. Everyone interested in graffiti art had the chance to participate in a workshop with MadC and Loomit. Both teamed up for a 20m wall and sketched lines and styles all over the boards before the workshop kicked off. All participants had to draw their own ideas on paper first. Due the one day workshop many young workshop participants then had to bring their own ideas into the production. Many of the young artists used a spraycan and MOLOTOW™ Premium for the very first time. MadC and Loomit tried to be effective in help and assistance, without teaching them too much while doing their first graffiti foodsteps. Learning by Doing. MadC, Loomit and many young newbies made the wall a very fresh look at the end! On the left a big MadC lettering, on the right many small styles plus Loomits 3D Style, figures and characters. See more of this workshop and the video plus photos below.
Apart from this Graffiti at splash! Festival were performed by our friends Soten, Bomr, Trota, the Maclaim crew and Burning Saxony. Thanks to the team and the splash! Festival building up such massive giant construction walls. See you at splash! 2011.
